It's stupid because ones think they were defending their own land when others thought that intruders came to their land, things like that always happen when there are no "clear" and easy to know border lines. + I've watch some video on youtube about fight on border in 2020, and apparently both sides - China and India didn't used any bullets or rockets, just some guys from one and other side crossed border few times and they mostly fought with fists and some sticks.
some Europeans draw lines here and there many years back and one side respects it and other not Don't know too much about disputes about water and islands but as for land border lines between India/China, and other countries like Pakistan there are really many stupid situations similar to the ones in Africa.
